HI,I met a problem with install to vista.
Every time i merge vs2005's libary(mfc 8.0,atl 8.0,crt 8.0)in my installer,it will
be freezen more than 5 minutes at InstallFinalize.
log issue is

and I find if i remove those in the ISMergeModule table ,it will install and uninstall well .If i add one of them to ISMergeModule table,installer freezes at the same place .

Would anyone give me suggestions to solve this problem.

I guess the resources in this merge module should not be installed on Vista but the module may not have the proper conditions to prevent it from trying. You could modify the module, or contact Microsoft for an updated module.

Thank you,Stefan. I packet a simple installer with IS11.5 only a file inside.And It is the same. Perhaps,I should try IS12 or install Vcredist_x86.exe silently.Or Windows Installer 4.0 is a good ideas?
