I have a self-registering DLL, which does not register since it cannot find a dll that it uses. Is there any way to accomplis this, without having to write to the XP system path? If so on either account, how would be the best way? I cannot install it within the directory that the second dll is located.
Thank you.

How is the DLL supposed to find the dependency at runtime of your application?
This scenario is one of the reasons why Microsoft recommends to use the MSI tables instead of self-registration.
