Hi all

I've noticed this behaviour on my win2k vm. The major upgrade is supposed to detect two installed applications and uninstall them both before installing the current version. The problem is, first time the upgrade runs it only removes one of the installed programs. Uninstall the program and run the install again, it detects and removes the second application.

Can anyone confirm that Windows Installer does this. Google searching hasnt turned up anything relevant.

Need more detail. How is your setup removing and detecting the older installations?
