Today I found out that the MSDE 2000 object for Dev studio 9 is not the latest version of the MSDE db. If I am not mistaken the latest version is MSDE service pack 3a and the version supplied is MSDE sp3.
So does anyone know if service pack 3a is available for dev studio 9 pure installscript project as an object.

This has been addressed in InstallShield X. However, a workaround for DevStudio 9 is available at http://support.insta...ticleid=Q110814.

Thanks jrc92. Your tip resolved the problem associated to MSDE not installing in windows 2003 server. But still the problem of MSDE not including the latest service packs remains open. I am not sure how they are going to address this is issue.
