the problem i am having is when i run my install application on an XP or 2000 Server machine, whoever "installs" the application is the only one who has rights to use the newly installed application. (ie: if logged in as Admin and they run my installer, then they are the only one who has rights to use the app.)
What do i need to do so that when the installer is run regardless of who installs it, whoever is logged in on those machines can use the newly installed application?
i was previously using IS ver. 6.2 and i just upgraded to IS ver. 6.31.
Thanks for the help,
KevSev

Is it that your simply creating your shortcuts for the login user instead of all users? 'cause you'll need to call ProgDefGroupType(COMMON); to get the latter.
Although I see from your follow up post you've already figured this out.
