I received an instillation from a vendor that is in MSI format. When I try to create a transform for the msi I get the following message. "1: This instillation cannot be run by directly launching the MSI package. You must run setup.exe." The vendor used InstallShield to create the install (not sure what version), and has been no help in answering my question. Is there a way around the error?
