Hiya, I apologize per advance about my poor english, I'm French

Anyway, I create two profiles under Windows 2000 Pro (SP2).
An administrator and an other profile.

I installed Office 2000 a first time and I've got somes problems but I put the Office's CD inside an other Computer and I installed it by Network. That worked.

I securise my second profile, everything working except Office, when I click on executable, it want install it again and freeze at windows installer preparing installation (dunno in english but something like that).
What can I do?

Hello Dodger,

in many cases we get a frozen WI, if virus scanners are running at the same time. After stopping the scanner process, the installation is running without problems.

We have Norton Antivirus loaded in memory system in the taskbar.

Will try to disabled it and reinstall office2k.

I'll post results.

Yes, Norton Antivirus is the most popular scanner in causing this behaviour.
