Hello,
maybe you know the dialog where the user can check or uncheck a checkbox if he wants to create a shortcut on desktop when he installs the software.
Is this dialog available in Installshield 2009? Or what do i need to create this experience?
Hope somebody can help me with a little guide.

You can create a checkbox and use control events AddLocal and Remove respecively in order to select/unselect a component holding your shortcut.

Yeah, thanks. I found the solution myself and posted it in the german forum last month. I did exactly the same thing
