Hello,
I built a basic msi project.
This project add a service, that I define under "Install NT Service" with the properties:
Win32 that runs its own process,
No interaction with desktop,
Automatic start type, and
Log the error, display the message, and continue Error control.
My problem is that on some computers or some windows platforms (I couldn't specify the right sequence), the service doesn't start, unless I reboot the computer. (Of course, usually, I don't have to reboot the computer).
Do you know something about that and how to solve it?

Under the "Control NT Services", is "Install Start" set to "Yes"?

Yes,
It fails to start even manually, after the installation.
Only after reboot it may be started (automatic or manually).
I does start on some systems, I didn't get the right scenario that make it fail to start. But it does try to start the service.

It may depend on some file that needs to be updated during the reboot, or it may depend on another service that doesn't run until the reboot.
