Hello

I have created a setup using Installshield Developer 7

Setup works fine in Win2000 and Win 95.

But in Win NT with SP6 the System crashes after my
setup installed and could not reboot.

I am using MSI version 2.0.6000.0 InstmsiW.exe shipped with ISD 7

What is the solution for resolve this ?

Your setp probably includes file it shouldn't install on NT.

Thanks for your reply & guidance

Ofcourse I built & assembled my setup in Win2000
machine and give condition to 2000 specific components like COMSVCS.DLL to install only in
win 2000 machine.

But I wonder the setup works fine in Win 95.

Whether I have to build & assemmble seperate Setup for Windows NT in Window NT machine itself to get the proper dependancy files.

Please suggest me in this and ultimately I need single
setup for Win 9X, Win NT, Win 2000.

I guess that at least one file doesn't have the proper condition. Or maybe in your setup there's an operating system file that should not be included at all. This sometimes happens if you use the results of a dependency scanner without double checking each of the files.
