Hi,
We are using a uninstall short cut for our product under the path Start->All Programs->Our Product. After installing the product i am trying to uninstall the product using this shortcut but i am getting an error which says "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed"... The uninstallation works fine if i do it from control panel, but from the shortcut i am facing a problem. Please suggest how to rectify this.

Hi ,
I was able to resolve this , we had changed our product code and the command line parameters for this shortcut was using the earlier product code and i changed it to current one and it starts working. Thanks for your response.

You can user [ProductCode] in the command line, so it will always use the correct one.
