Hi,
during the installation (Basic-MSI) we would like to comment some steps.
We start the MSI-Package via Setup.exe.
How can we add comments into the log file to see in case of an error what has happened? Of course, the MSI-functions are mentioned with their returncodes but we would like to add some lines within a user-defined-function into the log file.
How can we do that?

You could ad a custom action that writes to the log file.
