Hello,

is there a possibility to let the setup.exe use another ini file as setup.ini?

Rename of setup.exe to xyz.exe and want to use a xyz.ini.

I don't think that there's a way to configure this, the setup.ini name is most likely hard coded in setup.exe. So unless you want to binary hack the setup.exe I don't think you can do this.

What about possibly creating and using a setup.ini file in a way that setup.exe normally reads it in other setup package products. I'm working with vs 2010 by the way, and am still studying the product.

The setup.exe I created with vs doesn't seem to read the setup.ini file I created.

I wonder if anybody knows about this issue?
