All,

I had developed a Installation package using InstallShield DevStudio 9.0

Installation works fine for a user logged-in to a network.
But if the network was disconnected for some reason( network is down, disconnected from network), then I cannot install it and I had received the following error.

Error: 1606. Could not access network location(Users Personal Path).
Users Personal Path is a network share drive.

I am not sure how from Installation package not to check Users Personal Path directory. I do not want Installation package to check Users Personal Path.

How can i achieve this. How to overcome this issue.

Any help regarding this issue is greatly appreciated.

Make sure that the Permissions of the share is set for full and for all users.
