Hi,
I need to hide the patch from ARP. But I need to show the product in ARP.
Is there a way to do this? If i set ARPSystemComponent the product becomes invisible. I need to hide only patch.
Can anybody tell me how to do this.

Set it as non-removable? Refer to this MSDN article for details.
It doesn't say whether or not a patch authored this way appears in ARP but a quick experiment in a VM/VPC/VirtualBox will determine that.

Hi,
You can find the key in the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\" subtree for this patch only (not for the product) and add the "SystemComponent" = 1 value.
