Anyone have any experience setting service dependencies at runtime? I figure the way to do it would be to update the msi db ServiceInstall table with dependency info based on installed components? Ideas?

I am not quite sure if a understand Your question correctly. You like to install a service and like to set the dependencies for this service according to some condition evaluated at runtime: Then I would use properties which You can set at runtime in the view "Install services" and the line Dependencies in the InstallShield IDE.

You understood correctly! :-)
I figured it out. The way I did it was by using conditional components, based on properties set at runtime, via a radio button control dialog. Thanks for your input!
