Hello,
I have an existing IS9 installation and now want to add the Crystal Reports 10 msm-files provided by businessobjects. But how to?
I think I remember in earlier Installshield versions there was something called 'object holder'. Could not find it in IS9. Or is it possible to include the msm packages in a different way?
Thanks in advance!

There is a "merge module holder object" but I'm not sure if it was already available in version 9, or only was added in later versions.
Maybe crystal also provides a exe package that you can launch?

Thank you for the reply.
I have fixed the problem by copying the msm-files from crystal to the folder 'C:\Programme\InstallShield\DevStudio 9\Objects'. Then run a 'repair installation' of Installshield 9 Objects Gallery.
Afterwards the crystal msm-files are available in the 'application data/objects' folder and can be added to a feature via the merge module holder object.
Maybe there exists a smarter way to achive this ...
