unable to load setup or translator .....
i believe that it is referring to the ACCESS driver that im installing....does anyone know what could cause this and how i could fix it? thanks

i have an installshield that needs to install a system variable. i'm using the DAO template version2 that will allow for this. the problem i'm running into is that when installed on NT 4.0 i crash the ODBC. the error reads like this.

Hi Paul,
I experienced a similar problem when adding DSNs.
The reason why it works under W2K and not under NT is that W2K has a version of MDAC installed by default.
We fixed this problem by installing MDAC first AND reboot afterwards. Without reboot we still had problems.
