Hi All,
In my Standard Project (Developer 7.02) I created CA with the following properties:
Type: 67136
Run InstallScript code
Wait for the action to finish executing
Ignore custom action return action return code
In-Script Execution: Commit execution.
CA was placed between InstallInitialize and InstallFinalize. The problem is that the CA is not called at all. (Rollback works fine).
Another question is - what are the differences between commit action and immediate placed after InstallFinalize.
Thanks,
Evgeny.

Hi,
The commit execution custom action means an execution when the installation is finished. I guess you should set "Don' t wait for the action to finish executing" (uncheck this checkbox). I use the commit execution custom action in my project, it is still running in the Task Manager after the installation finishing.
