Hi all,

Is there a way to specify other than defaut source directory for a component?
That is for instance the whole product gets installed from DVD or network and only one component (from many) requires and uses another source directory for installation, i.e. seraches for files in other location than DVD?

I can devide my isntallation to several "medias", i.e. after the installation from hte first media is completed, installer asks for the second media and allows me to select source for it.
Is it possible to force such behavior for a single component or feature, so the user could select the source for it and/or programmatically set this source during installation?

You could use the MoveFile table to copy files from other locations (but they woul not be part of a component).
