A user sends me the following problem. He was trying to launch a setup that was made with ISP7, and he tried to install it on NT4. But looking for a solution on forums, I've found that some users got the same error on XP or ME, so maybe OS is not the problem. I could not reproduce this error on my PC (which runs Win 2000 by the way ).

"InstallShield encounters an error during installation. Here is what it says:

Setup has experienced an error
Please do the following:
-Close any running programs
-Empty your temporary folder
-Check your internet connection

Then try to run the Setup again.

Error Code - 6002

I have done everything stated above, but it doesn't change anything."

I've found on IS Help that Error code -6002 corresponds to "Failed finding the setup launcher" but I can't see the point.
Could anyone help me? Thanks.

I have found the answer in InstallShield website : ERRDOC: Run-Time Error -6002
Document ID: Q107426.

"This error may occur because of failing to find the setup launcher. This might happen if the setup.boot file is not found or is not accessible, or if setup.dll does not have a proper entry point."
