I am just confused between these two words.
Patch and Update
What do you think, which one is technically more correct.

It depends on the context. In the Windows Installer (MSI) world: an update can be in the form of a full install package (which could also be used for a full install) or in form of a patch (which is the difference between the old version and the new version). So Update is a more general term, and a Patch is a special form of an Update.

patch is a little bit change and update is a huge change.update means the renewal of the thing.
