I wish to have a silent install/uninstall for testing. I ran a setup -r and got a response file which works well on that build. Unfortunately it has that builds guid in it. We generate a new guid for every build which causes the reponse file to fail on subsequent builds. Removing the guid references causes the -s option to fail also. Is it possible to have a response file without the guid references in it?

YOU DO WHAT?!?!?! :0 You generate a new GUID with each build.  I'm sorry, but that's crazy!!!

The GUID is what correctly ties an ISS file to a setup, so no, it must be changed each time to match, or just be more realistic and not change it every time.
