Hi everybody

I can't get my major upgrade to work. If I try to install the new version it does nothing and the installer window is only visible for a very short time. I attached the log-file if someone is interested.

What am I doing wrong?

The log look incomplete. Did you kill the install? Tryadding the ! switch to make sure each log line is written to disk immediately.

You're absoultely right, the log was not complete. Added the ! switch and got these new lines:
CODE

Action start 07:53:19: MigrateFeatureStates.
MSI (c) (E4:14) [07:53:19:089]: Migrating feature settings from product(s) '{16D8CD1C-5BFA-42FA-9183-C39D1B0DEAE5}'
MSI (c) (E4:14) [07:53:19:089]: MigrateFeatureStates: based on existing product, setting feature 'Misc' to 'Local' state.
MSI (c) (E4:14) [07:53:19:105]: MigrateFeatureStates: based on existing product, setting feature 'Landscape' to 'Local' state.
MSI (c) (E4:14) [07:53:19:136]: MigrateFeatureStates: based on existing product, setting feature 'Visual' to 'Local' state.
MSI (c) (E4:14) [07:53:19:152]: MigrateFeatureStates: based on existing product, setting feature 'ISect' to 'Local' state.
MSI (c) (E4:14) [07:53:19:199]: Internal Exception during install operation: 0xc00000fd at 0x77C431ED.

Any suggestions to why it crashes?

/Patrik

"Internal Exception" is bad. I would recommend contacting Microsoft in this case.
