a bit of a newbie question here.
Can you use Merge Modules created for Version 2.0 of the Windows Installer service (i.e. Schema is 200) with version 1.1 of the Windows Installer?
The problem I am having, is that we have an installation that needs to be installed using version 1.1 of the Windows Installer and the merge modules we have are for version 2.0. They are the Visual Studio 7 merge modules MFC7 and the like.
When we install we get a 1904 error and the only thing I can think of is that the merge modules arent being installed correctly.

1904 is:
Module [2] failed to register. HRESULT [3].
So it doesn't sould like that is your issue, have any self registration happening? Verbose log might be worth looking at... Your ordering (which you can't change) may differ between the two versions...
