Zero G Software has acquired ActiveInstall.
Zero G are the makers of the Java based setup authoring tool InstallAnywhere. Until today they didn't have a Windows Installer (MSI) based solution.
ActiveInstall is a MSI authoring tool created by Michael Sanford, who is also a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Windows Installer.
While the product will no longer be sold with the ActiveInstall name, Zero G assures that the quality and technical expertise in ActiveInstall will continue as it is being developed into the next generation product, InstallAnywhere.NET, which will be available in early 2004.
