I'm opening up an ISPro5.53 install in ISPro7, allowing it to be converted. But the compile button remains greyed out.
I followed a similar approach for two previous 5.53 installs and did not encounter this difficulty.
My script files are not read-only, but that didn't seem to prevent at least an attempt at compiling the other two installs anyway.

Unable to determine why compile command is disable

Following advice from InstallShield, to enable the compile command, I had to run the media build wizard first. The media build failed of course because there was no compiled script (.inx), but right after the media build failed, the compile command was enabled. I hope this helps others.
