Hi All,

I am getting the following error while creating the patch using the patch wizard in ISWI1.5.

ERROR: Cannot execute MAKECAB.EXE.

I selected the following options for the patch.

1) Allow product codes to differ (because i want a major upgrade)
2) Allow product versions to differ

And i included only one previous version of .msi file to be upgraded with this patch.

This is very urgent.... Can anyone help please?

Looks like the makecab tool is not properly installed on your developement machine.

ISWI < 2.03 has a documented bug that won't let makecab.exe execute. If you can upgrade to this version, it should fix the problem.  I am having the same problem with Developer 7.0 sp4 and I cannot find anything that says how to fix this.
