Hello,
I have created a basic MSI with shortcut in myFeature in SetupDesign.
The option is Shared : No , Permanent : No
I have also added a property in Property Manager : ALLUSERS = 1 for the shortcut created in Allusers and not personnal 'start menu'.
But when uninstall, the shortcut stay.
I have also tested with ALLUSERS unset but i have the same problem.
My shortcut is created a ShortCut-->TaskBar-->Start Menu--->MYShortCut
It's a bug or i have forget something ?

Does a reboot remove the shortcut? Windows is sometimes slow in refreshing shortcuts.

no, the shortcut exist also into c:\document & settings\...

Maybe a verbose log of the uninstall would shed some light...

Did you ever change the shortcut name or change the component GUID for the component that installs the shortcut, OR did you move the shortcut between components? All these actions could cause problems in upgrade scenarios.

I have recreated "from scratch" and the new install work but i don't find the diff.
