Internet Explorer Installation

I want to install a customized version of IE5.5 during an other installation.
The setup of IE5.5 is a silent setup, which reboots the computer at the end of the installation.
I have implemented the call of the IE5.5 setup
at the sequence UserInterface : SetupCompleteSuccess. Nearly everything works allright.
But if I want to deinstall my setup, the installation of IE5.5 is called again, which make no sense.
Can I detect anyhow, if the maintenance mode of the installation is called, and a deinstallation is requested?

You could use a condition like
Not Installed
on the custom action. Other conditions are possible, see MSI Help.
