Can I define these properties to be default by editing the MSI file and set them to REINSTALL=ALL and REINSTALLMODE=vomus?
so that when i upgrade I don;t have to run the batch file with these options.
my clients doesn't like the batch file way..they want to double click the MSI and it should reinstall(for Minor Upfgrade).

I can undefine those...if it's a first install??

Thanks.

No, the "v" in REINSTALLMODE has to be passed on the command line. The workaround is to use a setup.exe launcher, or to generate a patch (.msp)

Yes, you can undefine them on first time install.

Thanks Stefan.
I needed a firm answer or I would still be trying on that.
