We're attempting to update to an ActiveX exe. The module is in use during the install. "Potentially Locked" is set to "Yes."
The module does not install if it is in use (even after reboot).
If the module isn't in use, then it installs correctly.
Any ideas on this?

Do you have the "newer version newer date" - Overwrite property set? Just a thought, but if you have that set then it will not update the file unless it has a newer version or newer date associated with it. You can specify to update the file all the time....

Yes -- "Newer Version Newer Date" is set. We created a work-around (not using InstallShield).
