Hello,

I' ve got the following problem.

After replacing the protected system file (non critical: utilman.exe) in the WINSYSDIR and WINSYSDIR\dllcache directories under Win2K/XP the OS displays the "windows file protection" dialog. I don' t want to see the dialog.

I already patched the sfc_os.dll and entered the SFCDisable Key in the Registry. This workaround 'works'. But that' s no real solution.

I would prefer a solution, that copies the utilman.exe after a reboot in the directories but I didn' t find the right way to solve the problem. If the utilman.exe would be in use...maybe everything would be easier.
Is it possible to tell the install engine, that the utilman.exe is running?

I hope, that it is quiet trivial for you.

thanks
Stefan
