Doing a validation. URLs of this nature are included in the warnings and errors. Is this pointing to some additional information? When I attempt to access, it isn't found...

No, there's URLs don't exist.
You can look up the codes (ICE03 etc.) in the Windows Installer Help

That's what I was afraid of... I found those, and with the complexity of Dev7 and WI, they weren't very helpful in some cases...

My current difficulty is with ICE43 and ICE57.

ICE43 - component has non-advertised shortcuts. IT SHOULD USE A REGISTRY KEY UNDER HKCU AS ITS KEYPATH, NOT A FILE. Ok, but what should I do?

ICE57 - Component has both per-user and per-machine data with a per-machine KeyPath... Ok, but what should I do?

I know that after I have actually "fixed" these, that NEXT time it will be "easy", but right now... it's just confusing.

Select "Advertised=yes" for your shortcuts.

I got the same problems and since I don't know/understand where/what cause these and therefore don't know how to fix.

I don't understand why, but Stefan's recommendation worked. Try it...
