MDAC2.x No reboot

mdac_typ.exe takes in some switches that makes it run with no reboot. Does anyone know how to pass these swtiches to the merge module (using is7.x).

You could try setting
MDACINSTALLCMD = /Q:A /C:"dasetup /Q /N"
before AppSearch (maybe even just planting it in the Property table) but I make no guarantees that the merge module DLLs won't change it back again.

This is one of many reasons why people are abandoning IS's MDAC Merge Modules and writing their own.
