mdac2.x with no reboot

mdac_typ.exe takes in some switches that makes it run with no reboot. Does anyone know how to pass these swtiches to the merge module (using is7.x).

the merge modules all run mdac_typ with these switches to stop a reboot but they all set the installer switches to cause a reboot you could edit the msm to remove this or create your own merge module without the option for a reboot - this is not very safe since if the user needs mdac installed and they havent had any version previously on their PC then attempting to use the files isn't exactly the best idea .. this is why we normally want to force a reboot after the installation of these files. By the way I've noticed that IS installs tend use a custom action to do the reboot so it shouldn't be to hard to chage their msm - well at least that's what they do for DCOM.
