Update EDIT-Control

My Problem, I have an Edit-Control (Property: MyPath) which shows an Path.
By pushing a Button the User can Change this Property (CA calling APIFileDialog).
After That the new Path is showen in the Edit-Control.
Fine.
But if the User types something in the Edit and then changes the Path bei FileDialog the Edit-Control doesn't recognize this.

How can i Say Windows Installer 'Update this Control'

I have the same problem and I cannot solve it.
So I simply set for Edit-Control property enabled=false.
So user cannot input anything to the Edit-Control.
It's not so fine, but there is not error.
