I have a service pack that upgrades one of the components from a product installer.
What I would like to do is to first uninstall the component from the product installer (but keeping the rest installed), then install the service pack in that specific location.
I haven't found out yet how this could be done, it seems like IS Pro 7 has no feature that supports this or this is not documented. Could anyone please give me a hand on this?

I don't think this is possible. However you could write some code to delete the existing files if that's want you want to do.
