1608:Unable to create InstallDriver instance
iam getting error 1608 when iam installaing the product(means run the setup.exe ) and iam unable to uninstall the product.
i tried with solution which is availble in installshield site,but no use. pls send solution if anyworked omn this.

Does the event log (App/System) provide any clues as to where the problem is? A file, GUID, or ActiveX object?
Make sure that if you install MS system files to a private location, that you do not register them there. if you've done that, re-register the original MS file in system32 or in Common Files.
