Hi,
I am trying to get patch for my release installer.
I just have to distribute 2 files which are modified in new installer.
all other things are exactly same as previous installer.
I want to create patch for these files.
When I tried to do it using ISWI 2.03 patch creation wizard, it only ask for modified feature. It don ask for modified files or anything like that.

help regarding this will really be appreciated..

Thanks..

Hey stefan as you said me, file version should be upgraded to differentiate them in 2 packages, but What we can do if files are versionless?

Thanks..

It should automatically detect which files have been modified. However the file versioning rules may prevent the patch to update a versionless file on the target system (if the existing file has been modified since installation)

Stefan,
You are right, modified files should be detected automatically. This is is small update, I think that's why I don have to worry about upgrade table, am I right?

I have one more problem, when I have appliead a patch to existing product. It remove other features and only install a modified feature which I had mentioned during Patch Creation Wizard in modified feature Panel.
what might be the reason?

Thanks..
