Hello,
after running a SetUp which I created with Developer7 under Win XP the [INSTALLDIR] and a created subdir are always write-protected for all "normal" users. This problem doesn't appear under Win2000 or NT4.
Is there a way to control the directory attributes in my SetUp?
The same problem appears if I create the SetUp with Express3.04

I have never heard of the problem you having, I would check the permissions of your logon.
You can also change the permissions using:
CACLS.exe a DOS command line utilitily easily executed as a cusotm action with the parameters you want,
or programattically through WMI of ADSI.
