dear gurus,
 i want to make an entry into the registry with the help of installshield..i don't know much about this..if anybody knows this then plz help me out..

is there any area in the registry wherein if i make an entry of my exe it'll run just once..if yes i want to make an entry into this area so that after installation and rebooting of the system my exe will just run once..

or

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx]

should be what you're looking for...

Yeap, those are the keys, but what the difference is between the two I don't know since I've never had to make use of them.

Can anyone enlighten me?
