I have an app that is installed using setup.exe. It shows up in the ARP and I can add info to SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.
There is a "support information" under ARP with "repear" button.
How can I make use of the "repair" button, it is currently not functioning.
I'd like to rerun the entire "setup.exe" when "repair" is initiated.

The Repair button will re-run the .msi file, not the self-extracting setup.exe. Therefore you should leave the extracted .msi file on the target system.
Otherwise you could try to set ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT so that Windows Installer will not write an Add/Remove entry, and then add all the reuqired entries in the Uninstall key of the registry yourself.

Stefan, what entries should I add to uninstall key to make use of the "repair" button?
There is UninstallPath and ModifyPath, neither do the trick.

I'm not sure (don't even know if it's possible). Look at other existing entries, or search MSDN.
