Hi
I'm trying to run a setup on a Windows 7 machine.
Everything was ok until I attempted to install the file msvbvm60.dll into the <WINSYSDIR> folder. Which I'm assuming is the C:\Windows\SYSWOW64 folder as all the files are 32 bit.
A version of the file already exists in that folder but there is a know issue with it which is why I'm trying to overwrite it.
I now get a message
'The following error occured on the file c:\Windows\system32\msvbvm60.dll. Access is denied. (0x5)'
I'm assuming this is something to do with the UAC? But also why is it trying to install into the system32 folder and not the WowSys64 folder?
Any help much appreciated.

Even Administrators don't have write permissions to that file. It's part of the OS and should only be updated using a Windows Update or Service Pack, not by an application setup.
