Hi all,
Just finished my test, built it and got it to work with no errors and warnings. Took my CD out to two other test computers, and had some strange error I had never seen before on both and one refused to install from CD. Not a good look at all for something I want to distribute.
How compatible are these installs and is there any bugs lurking that I should avoid. Any help would be great.
Also...
What is the benefit of using a MSI ver 2.0 over 1.1 or 1.2 versions of windows installer?

1) Give the details of the errors that are reported.
2) Windows Installer 2.0 has a host of new features. The highlights being increased .Net support and support for 64 bit windows operating systems. You can read the Windows Installer help article titled "What's New in Windows Installer Version 2.0" for a comprehensive list.
