I'm getting Error 1607: "Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime" when starting installation from Terminal Services ot MetaFrame client session. Installation from the console is running fine, I log on as administrator in both cases. Any ideas what may cause the problem?

I had a similar problem when installing on an XP machine. I discovered tht the microsoft installer service was not running or updating by running ISScript.msi manually. After trying a lot of things I uninstalled and reinstalled MSI and it all seemed to work ok after that.
On the comand line I did the following:
msiexec /unregister
msiexec /regserver
