Hello, can you please help me with one question. In preparation for the installation, in one of the dialogs, i need to check is the MSSQL server exists (using host, login and password given by user). I know, i can use a C# custom action, but i can't use a NET Platform (because, if i use NET i need to install framework?). I using WIX.
And also, it would be great if someone can show me how can i collect information about existing SQL servers, in network, using combobox.

Although this sample shows C#, WMI can be used by pretty much anything, including VBScript.
