Need help, on closing explorer windows!

When running installer from 3rd party vendow using "LaunchAppAndWait", some explorer windows are opened and then minimized. However after rebooting these windows are still open, and interfere with part2 of the installer. How can I close these windows
Platform: Windows 2000 Server
InstallShield Version: 5.5

Try the script here on installsite "IS5/6 Samples > Extrenal Progams and Files > List and Shut Down Running Applications"
